UGANDA Sports Press Association (USPA) has received a cheque of seven million shillings from City Tyres towards this year’s road safety campaign.

This is the tenth year of partnership between City tyres and USPA in fighting road accidents through safe driving. Climax of the program will be at Wobulenzi on September, 2 in Luwero with painting a zebra crossing and a football gala between USPA Stanchart, ‘Bodabodas’ and taxi operators.

Other activities will include a church service at Christ the King in Kampala on Tuesday in honor of the four journalist who perished in a road accident at Lugazi almost a decade ago and giving away reflectors to ‘Bodabodas’ by KCCA players on Wednesday. Wobulenzi is chosen at a time when a number of Bulemeezi fans died in a road accident recently.
