The Uganda Police Force (UPF) started well in on going East Africa police games by beating Kenya Police Service in soccer 7-1.
Uganda managed to score its first goal just in first minute of opening of first half.
While opening these games at Uganda Christian University Mukono, inspector general of police Kale Kayihura says that he wants these games in come years to be continental.
He asked participants to use these games as part of community policing between member countries.
Countries which are participating in the first ever edition of East Africa Police Games include Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda and Sudan.
Some of the games that will be played include soccer, volley ball, athletics, and target shooting among others.
