The Inter Force games kicked off and the opening football fixture was between Prisons and Uganda Wildlife Authority(UWA).
Hosts Prisons were beaten 2-1 by UWA.
Uganda Police Force shared points with Uganda People’s Defence Forces. (UPDF) after their match ended in a 1 all draw.
Handball was also played and Prisons thumped UWA 31-18, while police defeated the UPDF 19-18.
Prison’s Stephen Kiprotich will not participate at the games as he is nursing an injury that also led him to miss the MTN Marathon.
Athletes will compete in different categories today (Tuesday 26th).
