he Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced that Uganda will play Zambia at Ndola Stadium in an international build up game on 5th March 2014.
An official statement signed by FUFA CEO Edgar Watson reads:
“FUFA agreed with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to play an international friendly game on a FIFA designated day of matches March 5th) in Ndola.”
The Uganda Cranes beat the Chipolopolo on penalties in their last meeting at Namboole Stadium during the AFCON qualifier.
Watson said, ‘We are happy to have such a high profile friendly with one of the biggest teams on the continent. We are certain that it will help the coach test out his players against a good team’.
The cranes squad that will travel to Zambia will be announced soon.
