Inside the Spectacular Gaddafi National Mosque

Do you know the Qaddafi National Mosque? Also known locally as the Old Kampala Mosque, this is the largest mosque in Uganda.

The foundation of this national mosque was left by the Late Idi Amin Dada, the president of Uganda who ruled between 1971 to 1979.  Construction work became stale till Col. Muammar Gaddafi, the former President of Libya raised funds to finish this spectacular mosque.

It can accommodate over 35,000 People. This makes it as one of the biggest Mosque in East, Central, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
