Kampala Capital City Authority has received multi media tracking system donation from Chinese Telecommunications Solutions Company, Huawei Technologies Company Ltd.

The donation was received by President Yoweri Museveni from the Huawei Vice President for Africa and the Middle East Region, Li Dafeng at State House Entebbe. The president was impressed with the performance of the equipment basing on the video demonstration presented.
The equipment and related services are valued at US$750,000 and the Huawei vice president, Dafeng, informed President Museveni that the ultra-modern end to end multi-media tracking system significantly reduces the critical mission response time as it has the capacity to handle emergencies and will go a long way in providing more security to the country.
The hand over certificate was signed by the Managing Director of Huawei Technologies (Uganda) Company Ltd, Mr. Radoslaw Kedzia on behalf of his company while the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Jennifer Musisi signed on behalf of the Uganda Government. And President Museveni and the Chinese Ambassador to Uganda Zhao Yali, witnessed the signing ceremony.
