City funny men, comedians Patrick Salvador and fast-rising stand-up comedian Emeka Collins Bareija have been nominated in the Africans In Diaspora Achievement Awards (ADARA) in South Africa. The two Ugandan comedians are up against top Nigerian comedians Basketmouth and Angel Gabriel in the Best comedian of the year category.
Comedian Bareija immediately took to social media after receiving the news to share it with his fans in a post: “It’s a new week, and I would love to really thank God for this far He has brought me. My first nomination ever is an international nomination with the Top African Stars in the ADARA Awards for “African Comedian Of The Year” in South Africa.
I must say it’s a blessing being nominated alongside my brother Patrick Idringi Salvado, who I’ve watched since stand up Comedy started in Uganda and Basketmouth the first International Comedian I fell in love with. It’s all about faith, hardwork, and trusting God. Whoever you are, whatever you do.”
