The Uganda Police Force has wooed the crowd with its impressive defence tactics at the Centenary celebrations held at Kololo grounds in Kampala.
The Police have today held the grand finale celebrations, marking 100 as they move from colonial policing to community policing.
At the ceremony, the police have demonstrated impressive tactics they use in defending and protecting the community and country while at duty.
They demonstrated how the Police presidential guard acts out when protecting a VVIP (Very Important Person).
Police also showcased their tactical response team and VIP protection unit.
The Marine services unit also showcased their tools to use while carrying out their duty.
As for the criminals, they surely got scared after the police officers demonstrated how to treat thieves and criminals and showed some of the machines to use on them.
They also showed the canine unit with its commanders, a centre of excellence for all working dogs, narcotics detection, ivory search and rescue team.
Meanwhile, thousands of people are at Kololo to show support to Police at the centenary celebrations.
