Sorrow has been witnessed among the music fraternity after learning the news of Ugandan musician Mowzey Radio passing on earlier this morning.
Real names Moses Ssekibogo, has been a member of Goodlyfe Crew together with Douglas Seguya alias Weasel.
Mowzey Radio’s Death confirmed
Mr Balaam Barugahara, an events promoter confirmed that Radio died today, Thursday 1st Feb 2018 at about 6am.
His death came after suffering injuries in an altercation in a bar within Entebbe on January 22, 2018.
His death has been confirmed by the Case Clinic where he has been undergoing treatment the past week.
“The management of Case Hospital regret to announce the passing of Moses Sekibogo alias Moze Radio today 1st February 2012 at 6.00AM.
He has been one of the main performers in Uganda and his music is quite popular to Ugandans.
Mowzey Radio has also been a song writer and his work is behind many hit songs of his and other Ugandan artists.
Radio started singing with the Leone Island and his first song was “Jennifer”. His song “Sweet Lady” was another hit in his early days.
In his career, he had several collaborations with other musicians including Rabadaba, Desire Luzinda, Irene Ntale, etc.
His songs include, Sitaani, Bread and Butter, Zuena, Leesu, Tookigeza, Omwana wa B’andi among others.
